Muz's Slow and Steady S13 Build.

This project will be a very slow progressing one, As we'll be breaking it down in stages.

Unfortunately the owner has already shelled out thousands for the crap corner cutting work that's been done so far, So we'll be mostly removing what's been previously done, And re-doing it with added JDM Yo'ness !

As with any s13, The first job was to remove all the weighty sound deadening.
We also ground all of the randomly bodged in fiberglass out, to see what treasure's were hiding underneath ?

The result was that some bright spark had attempted to weld some huge steel plates in, To cover a small amount of surface rust, and a five pence piece sized
hole ?

Unfortunately, As the floor pan had been hammered in for the previous plating up job, We had to cut the whole section out, and fabricate a new section from some sheet steel.

With this tacked in, We filled in the remainder.

As we're doing a wire tuck in the boot, We decided to weld over the grommet holes, where the wiring makes it's way down to the Diff senders, and Speed sensor.
The original holes were then relocated out of sight behind the seat support brackets.

We also decided to weld up and smooth any other redundant holes, etc.

We adapted the 13 to accept the Upper and Lower Rear Bench seat from the S15.

It was necessary to fabricate some extension's for the factory seat back mounts, These also accept the Catch Hook system in the same way the factory mount's do.

Slow and Steady Build - Part 2.
